Chris Harrison is an American born actor, producer, TV and game show host. He is best known for hosting ABC reality TV dating show, The Bachelor from 2012. Also, he has hosted other shows like The Bachelorette from 2003, Bachelor Pad from 2010 to 2012, Bachelor in Paradise from 2014, the first season of Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise (2015) and Bachelor Live (2015). Harrison has also hosted the syndicated version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? From 2015.
Harrison began his career at CBS affiliate KWTV in Oklahoma City as a sports presenter from 1993 to 1999, and in 2001 he hosted Mall Masters, a short-lived game show for GSN.
Chris has also hosted the live coverage of The Miss America Pageant from 2011 to 2015. Also, he has hosted American Music Awards Red Carpet in 2011, Emmys Red Carpet Live in 2012, Road to 60th Primetime Emmys Awards and the daily coverage of ABC.com leading up to the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2008.
Apart from his broadcasting career, Chris Harrison has also written a novel, The Perfect Letter, which is a passionate, emotional and a romantic novel published by Harper Collins in May 2015.
Harrison has ventured into acting too, appearing in popular television series such as The Practice, Alias, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Six Feet Under. He has featured in films like Showtime, Bounce and the comedy Date Movie.
